Going to a resurant!

Image
Hi everybody! I know my posts have been kind of irregularly posted lately, but I am trying my best to post every day😉. Today, we went to church and then out to the desert. We are reading a new book called "Cold-Case Christianity" and it is really good so far! My mom is reading it to the whole family! Here is a picture of it below: We also went to Red Robin out in the desert! They only had patio dining and tomorrow is the last day before Red Robin goes back to only pick-up dining. So we were lucky that we came when we did😀. I wasn't really hungry at first when we arrived in the desert, so we held off on eating for 45 minutes. I realized only after that that was a bad decision😢. Everyone else was starving when I wasn't hungry and we couldn't bear to wait the 10 minutes that we had to wait for out food at Red Robin😂. Here is a picture of us below when we got an appetizer of fries after: As you can see in the background, we sat in a tent with clear plastic for wi...

A somewhat productive day

Yay! Our power hasn't gone off! (Yet...) Oh. Dang it, I just heard the wind a bit. The wind has died down for the past couple of hours but this morning it was so loud! I was worried that the house was going to fall down😱! (But then again, I do get scared of ridiculous things. Like for example once I got very scared when we were at a beach with huge waves. I thought that the waves would engulf us or would turn in to tsunamis😂) Anyway, this morning I did school on zoom. I would be going to school today and tomorrow but, I had really bag allergies last week and my mom had to answer a health screening for our school. Which meant that she mentioned my runny nose. The school nurse said that I should stay home just to be safe. Although I no longer have any an trace of a runny nose. I finished up a school assignment with a friend and played some animal crossing with her as well. After that, I set up my new Chromebook! Our school got new Chromebooks and they were even still in their boxes...

Windy, windy, and even more windy!

The weather here in Beaumont looks...windy! You can't go five minutes in our neighborhood without hearing a trash can fall down! Power outtages are also expected to happen tonight, or in the next couple of days. That means snuggling up in blankets and turning on flashlights. I don't know about you, but I honestly really like power outtages. Firstly, everyone has an excuse not to do work because they have to do it virtually, and secondly, I love feeling all safe and cozy inside my house. Today, I did school in the morning. On Wednesdays- Our whole school distance learns because there is two cohorts, each going on 2 days a week and going on Wednesdays would make it uneven. We also get pretty long breaks as well so thats great😀! I also finished up some cookies with my friends. Remember my favorite book series? Keeper of the Lost Cities? Yeah, well there are recepies for the food mentioned in the books and we made one of the foods! They are called mallowmelt cookies and they are ...

Pixielover commented on my most recent post and asked: "If you had continued sunset slayers, how would it have ended?" That's a hard question because that was one of the reasons I stopped that book. I had no idea how the end would play out at all. If I gave you a simple answer then I wouldn't be able to explain the new idea I just got for the ending. So I was thinking...maybe I should just finish sunset slayer's? Yeah, I know I said that I would completely stop that book but..I kind of want to finish it. No wait, I really want to finish it. So...right now would be the time where you search up chapter 45 on my blog and re read it so that you are all caught up. Unless you already have😉. So expect chapter 46 to come on my blog very soon! Anyway, I had a wonderful thanksgiving! During the break, I finished the new book of Keeper of the lost Cities. It was quite depressing in my opinion but I'm sure other people think otherwise😌. I also started a new book. It is...

A special shout-out to Gryphonlover- Pixielover and Gryphonlover were two minutes apart and they both got the correct answer. Great job😃! Pixielover now gets to ask one question in the comments and I will answer it in my next post. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Stay positive!

Challenge!

Hello to all! Before I start on this post today, I am going to let you know that I will not be blogging for the rest of thanksgiving break which is this Sunday to next Sunday. That Monday I will be blogging again😉. Today we did Christmas decorating! We turned on some Christmas music and got to work putting ornaments on the tree and setting up our Christmas village set! Here is us below during the process: I finished my book and am now on the current one! Can't wait to see what agonizing cliff-hanger the author left readers on😠😂! Anyway, we even decorated the trampoline with Christmas lights! Here is a picture of that at night below: Yay! Now I can read in the dark without having to bring out a lamp or flashlight😀! We also put lights (Not we, my mom) on our front porch around our palm trees. These are the first ever colored lights that we have put up on our front porch and I wish I had taken a picture of them. Now, you probably all are wondering.."What's the challenge ...

Hello everyone! The reason for me not blogging in a while is that I was at my grandparents for the weekend and we came home Monday. And as you all know, I don't blog on Tuesday's because we have a church event every Tuesday night. Speaking of going to my grandparents...we had so much fun! We watched Hallmark movies, made cookies and pizza, ate, and played outside on the swings! We left that Saturday morning and were on our way! The rides on the way there tend to get a little long because they are usually about 5 hours. I read my book for most of the time and I also played some video games and watched some shows on my kindle. Once we got up there, we relaxed and had some lunch! For the rest of the day there, we took advantage of the good weather and played outside for a bit as well as playing video games, and watching Hallmark movies. On our second day there, we cooked and baked for that night's dinner of make- your own-pizza and made some things to take home. Here are some...
