Fun...fun and even more fun!
On the fifteenth of July, my family and I headed out to the beach to meet our cousins there! We all had so much fun! We jumped over the waves, built sandcastles and talked! It was a lot of fun to go deep into the water and actually be able to swim. We estimated that we would stay there for about 3 hours but instead we stayed there for 5 hours!😮 Here are some pictures of me, my brother, and my cousins making sandcastles! We gave up after a while because the water just kept ruining the castles😓 but we had fun anyway!
Although it was kind of crowded, it was really easy to social distance. This is a picture of no one in particular😂. It's just a shot of a random family and the ocean😆.
At one point, the tide got really high and kind of created a tiny lake! I really liked to hang out in it. Here is me below in it:
After having a super fun time at the beach, me and my brother spent the night at our cousin's house since they lived about half an hour away from the beach. When we got there, my parents stayed for pizza! I eventually showered and there was a LOT of sand and I mean a LOT of sand both on my body and on my swimsuit. Then, we all went to bed. When we woke up in the morning, we went to a local bakery for breakfast and the lemon raspberry muffin I had was really good! We played with each other for the rest of the morning then took a lunch to the park to have a picnic. We filmed a part two of a movie that we had filmed a couple of months earlier and had a lot of fun with it! I'm sorry, we don't have any pictures of the sleepover but you know I did it! Me and my brother spent the whole rest of the day with them and had so much fun! When we were picked up by our dad at about 8:30, we were sad to leave, but we were thankful for such a wonderful time! That's the reason why I didn't blog last night either because we got home so late. Today, me, my brother, and my mom took our friends to that creek that we went to our cousins with. It was a little cold but other than that we had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures of all of us below: (The second is of one of my friends freezing in the ice cold water but trying to get used to the water)
The morning that we left for the beach, I made a make your own character sheet for my book. I sadly don't have a picture of that since my friend is filling it out right now, but I do have a picture of an information page about one of the tribes, which is the twilight tribe. I am sorry that you probably don't know what the sheet is about since you haven't read my book yet but, you can refer back to this photo when you read my book :)
Another thing that I am excited about is that the new keeper of the lost cities book cover came out! Let me explain. Last year, I read a book series called "Keeper of The Lost Cities" I fell in love with it and have been waiting for the new book to come out so that I can read it. At first, we just got the title of the new book coming out. But we now, there's the cover of the book which makes it easier to predict what the book will be about. Here is the picture of the cover below for those of you interested in the book series or for those of you that have read some of the books:
Tonight, we watched a movie called "Interstellar" which is a movie about space. Here is a picture of it below:
Alright, I have been typing for a really long time so I think it's time to wrap it up. I just found out today that I will probably be starting my school year with distance learning but that is ok. I hope everyone stays positive. Bye!
What a fun afternoon we had at the beach! And getting to spend the night at your cousins' was just icing on the cake! And Thermon Flats was great fun, except for the tragedy of the OMG doll losing her life to the roaring rapids...
ReplyDeletePoor Becky Golden (Da Boss), we will get a new one 😓. I want the Keeper of the lost cities book to come out RIGHT NOW! I'm dying to read it! -Stitch
ReplyDeleteHailey: Very cool! I thought it was a very funny coincidence (if I spelled that right) that my mom had watched InterStellar that same night u did 😆
ReplyDeleteHailey: and about the new book, I've been trying to find out what the places are that is shown, and so far I KNOW that the glass pyramid is Foxfire. And that one place with the dinos might be Haven Field, if anyone else knows what I'm talking about XD
ReplyDeleteOh, and the crystal towers
