Fun days up at my grandparents house!

I had a lot of fun up at my grandparents house! We swam, ate, made movies together, and played outside! It was especially amazing since my cousin could go up there with us! We went swimming with my grandma's friends who are a lot younger than us, but are still so much fun to play with! We played a pirate and good side game, and jumped off of the diving board. It was a lot of fun to get together with some kids littler than us and just have fun! Another thing that we did up at my grandparents house was film movies. The first movie we filmed was about some teenage kids that turned into little kids because they weren't being nice to their family. They then did all these nice things for their family but they all turned out bad. For example, two of the little kids wanted to help their grandmother with the oatmeal but burned it. Another thing that the little kids did was drop their grandpa's ipad when they were trying to charge it for him. The second movie we did was one that we never finished. It was about a really chubby kid (I was that kid...it was hard to fit pillows into the shirt I had on!) she wants food in the begging of the movie but doesn't get it so she goes to her grandparents which gives her all the food she wants. In the end though, she realizes that she doesn't need all that food and she should be thankful for all the food she gets. One morning, we ate what my grandma calls "The Big Breakfast" which usually consists of biscuits as the main course. Here is everyone savoring the food!:

My grandma is an amazing chef so when we go up to her house, the food is terrific! One night, me and my cousin loved the lemon pie that she had made😍 and did small baking show reviews. Such as, saying that the crust had to much eggs or saying that the pie filling was to artificial. (Of course those are just examples...we loves the pie and would never say anything like that!) We were really sad that we had to leave when we did, but we knew that we would be back up there soon! The car drive home wasn't so bad since our cousin was with us and we also had my brother's nintendo switch with us. Here is a picture of us with our controllers on the way home:

Overall, this has been an AMAZING trip and I can't wait until we can all go up there again. It was definitely a trip to get away from all the covid stuff at home. I loved seeing my other family and spending so much time we them. I hope everybody is doing well and happy! Stay positive!
